Kirsten, Although somewhat late, I want to thank you for your help to Christy and to us during the last few months of search for an ideal home for her. You made the process a lot easier and joyful. Your personal attention and frank evaluations, as well as your promptness and professional behavior, brought this usually difficult task to a successful conclusion.

We interviewed two other agents before we met Kirsten, and she was the only one who was brutally honest from the get go. Her experience in staging as well as her real estate expertise was the perfect combination. We know our house sold as a direct result of her staging advice combined with a realistic asking price. Much to our surprise, our house sold in May 2009 within 7 weeks, in the midst of the worst economic conditions in decades, and in a subdivision where all our neighbors' houses have sat for months (and even years!) without selling. I would without reservation recommend Kirsten to anyone who is looking to get results!

As a first time home buyer picking the right agent for you can be a daunting task. I worked with 1 agent that had lots of clients and a great resume, however it wasn't long before I realized she was not offering the best advice... I dumped her and got Kirsten. The difference was night and day. Kirsten understood my particular concerns and made them a priority to addressed and/or resolved. After collaborating and making a list of properties to view, we found my house on the first day we looked! I bought a foreclosed property and of course hit a few bumps along the way but with Kirsten I was able to get a great house well below fair market value with some great equity. She was always easy to contact and was constantly on top of other people to make sure they fulfilled their commitment to me. She even recommended a great home inspection company that sent an inspector who had once lived around the street and was able to give me information about the neighborhood and house I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. She also has an extensive knowledge about properties inside the perimeter (but not limited to that) which was a must-have for me. I would not hesitate to use Kirsten again and would strongly recommend her to others.

        I recently bought my first house, thanks to Kirsten.  Before I found Kirsten, I tried out several realtors who were definitely not what I was looking for.   Then I tried Kirsten and knew it was a perfect match after the first day.  The first realtors seemed like amateurs, while Kirsten is a consummate professional.  She was able to point out possible water damage in one house and could answer all of my questions about houses, neighborhoods, and investment value.  And instead of focusing on selling me a house at the top of my price range, she focused on finding houses in tune with my tastes.  Although I was very familiar with the Atlanta housing market (I have lived in Atlanta for years and had been looking on-line for months), I found my house in East Atlanta thanks to Kirsten’s suggestion.  I had not considered East Atlanta previously and she thought the neighborhood was a good fit for my personality.  Again, she was right.    

Kirsten is extremely educated about houses and the Atlanta housing market.  Once I found a house, the people she put me in contact with for the inspection and mortgage were fantastic.  During the process of buying my first house it felt as if I was Kirsten’s only client because she was available at all times and at all hours to answer my questions.  There wasn’t a single question that she couldn’t answer immediately or find the answer to and get back to me.  And Kirsten is a bull-dog in negotiations.  She was able to get the previous owner to build a privacy fence and lower the price of the house significantly below the appraised value.  And even now she is still offering to help me with the house, though I closed more than a month ago.  Kirsten is a realtor who takes pride in her job and does it wonderfully, not a person who will go through the motions to make a profit.      

Kirsten is such a fantastic realtor that if I could afford to buy another house right now I would use her.  And I have told all of my friends that they would be crazy not to use her when they begin the process of purchasing their homes!

    Working with Kirsten is like working with a most trusted friend or family member. If you are serious about selling (or buying), Kirsten is the right agent for you. You must prepare yourself though because Kirsten serves up heaping helpings of reality when advising clients about how to prepare a home for sale. She researches each market carefully and she knows exactly what prospective buyers want. 1) Listen to what she says 2) Do everything you can to act on her suggestions 3) Watch her go! My husband and I were nervous at first about the updates she asked us to make. Once we did what she said, we were astounded with her ability to not only get qualified showings, but to follow up with every prospect and then to complete the sale (Did I forgot to mention -- she got us our asking price!)      We had just about given up hope on selling our home and were looking at rental options.  Our house was unoccupied and on the market for almost two years, with numerous price reductions and continuous maintenance costs.  We met Kirsten Conover in late December of 2007 through a referral from a close friend.  My wife and I had been loyal to the same agent for two years, but felt like it was time to make a change.  We were tired of paying two mortgages.  Needless to say, we were very impressed with Kirsten’s ideas of re-marketing our home, make a small investment to update fixtures, and preparation prior to our home being listed.  We had multiple offers within the first two weeks of the listing, and had it under contract.  Within 45 days of the listing, we sold and closed on the home. 

   Kirsten provided us with invaluable advice and suggestions throughout the process, in addition to letting us know what we ‘needed’ to do to sell the house in today’s buyer driven market versus what we ‘wanted’ to hear.  Kirsten is by far, the most professional, dedicated, and knowledgeable agent we have ever worked with.  The only regret we have is that we did not meet Kirsten two years earlier.

Kirsten - you made me realize what a great asset a good real estate agent is.   After a terrible experience with a Duffy Realty agent who "attempted" to sell my home, you came, suggested upgrades as well as staged the home ... it sold in less than a month, in a down market, for 98% of the asking price!  Though I sometimes wanted to throw darts at your picture through the upgrade process, you proved to me you knew exactly what you were doing.


I could have chosen other agents but I choose you because you have a great attitude and confidence.  I feel very comfortable around you and can trust what you're doing is always in my best interest. I was recently relocated by my company to California and had to sell my condominium quickly.  As this is a particularly tough condo market right now, Kirsten's challenge was pretty big.  Since purchasing the condo the values in my complex have depreciated and the days on market average 142 days. 

Kirsten worked extremely hard to sell my place--she was very responsive and communicative with me every step of the way and made the process much less stressful.  My condo sold in 6 weeks and set a new high price for my complex.  My only regret is that I moved to Sacramento and she can't help me find a house here!
